NYSE Stocks Dive as Auto-Sell Programs Are Triggered
Stocks on the NYSE moved into the red on Tuesday as a sell program triggered more selling.
Big board stocks took a turn for the worse at midday as a sell program got underway. As a result, Keith Bliss of Cuttone & Co. said other sell programs were also triggered. Bliss says this week the focus will be on earnings from consumer related companies where he'll be watching top sales and guidance to determine the health of the market. Also, Bliss says keep an eye on shares of Netflix where net neutrality issues will be top of mind as investors move past the heavy load of of bank and financial stocks.
