Health care costs are the most worrisome financial issue facing consumers, according to a new survey by the National Endowment for Financial Education. The survey was taken after the 2016 presidential election. Some 56% of respondents say they are most worried about health care costs, while 48% of consumers were worried about taxes and 47% were worried about the cost of living. Affordable Care Act premiums are expected to increase in 2017. Ted Beck, president and CEO of the National Endowment for Financial Education, says consumers may need to readjust their budgets to prepare for changes in the health care market.
