To the surprise of many, stocks soared on Wednesday after trading lower, following Donald Trump's presidential election victory. "Markets have an unbelievable way of rationalizing events and bringing sensibility to them and that's what we're seeing," said NYSE trader Keith Bliss of Cuttone & Company. When it became clear that Trump was shaping up to be victorious in the wee hours of Wednesday, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slumped 800 points but by midday were up more than 200 points.
