Now that President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, investors are worried that some policy aspects may be delayed, such as tax reform. That's the assessment from Nick Colas, chief market strategist at Convergex. 

Though Colas isn't letting the political noise fog the better-than-expected earnings season that has helped buoy markets in recent weeks.
