Worldwide markets are selling off on news from North Korea that it has successfully tested a hydrogen nuclear bomb. While the claims of a successful test is being met with some skepticism, the U.S. Geological Survey does confirm that it detected 'earthquake-type' activity in the region overnight. A Senior Obama Administration official told CNN it would take days to obtain the data to determine whether it was a successful test and what kind of bomb it was. NuVasive (NUVA) is expanding its reach in spinal surgery and will pay $380 million in cash to buy fellow medical device company Ellipse Technologies. NuVasive CEO calls the merger a "category killing combination". Verizon (VZ) is auctioning data centers to streamline its operations, according to Reuters.
