Nordstrom Is Dumping Ivanka Trump's Line
The Grab Your Wallet boycott is apparently working.
Nordstrom (JWN) - Get Report announced this week it's pulling Ivanka Trump's line off the shelves.
"Each year we cut about 10% [of brands] and refresh our assortment with about the same amount," Nordstrom said in a statement. "In this case, based on the brand's performance we've decided not to buy it for this season."
The #GrabYourWallet movement, aimed at boycotting stores that sell Ivanka and Donald Trump merchandise is apparently working. Originally started on social media, the boycott was meant to hit the Trump family where it hurts - their businesses. Macy's (M) - Get Reportstopped selling Donald Trump merchandise last year after his comments about Mexicans immigrants.
