There was no clear winner in the latest GOP debate, but Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz stood out from the pack, according to one expert. Political analyst Ford O'Connell said Trump continues to rank high in the polls, but the new dynamic playing out in the race is the battle between Cruz and Rubio. O'Connell said Rubio was stronger on national security and foreign policy, while Cruz was stronger on the immigration issue. O'Connell said Cruz is the candidate to watch, and if he wins the Iowa caucus, he would join Trump as the co-frontrunner in the race. Trump continues to win the social media battle, according to O'Connell. He added that Jeb Bush is the candidate with the most to lose, and O'Connell expects him to exit the race after the New Hampshire primary.
