Worldwide auto sales should grow one to two percent in 2016, according to Carlos Ghosn, president, chairman and CEO of Nissan. Ghosn said after a record year for U.S. auto sales in 2015, he expects sales will rise another one percent. Ghosn sees sales gains in Europe and China, but expects industry sales will continue to show weakness in Russia, Brazil, and Japan. Ghosn said for Nissan, he also sees a 2016 turnaround for sales of The Leaf, Nissan’s electric vehicle, after a slump in 2015. Ghosn said industry-wide, sales of electric vehicles will continue to grow, as charging infrastructure increases. Nissan also unveiled a new concept truck, the Nissan Titan Warrior, at the North American International Auto Show. TheStreet's Rhonda Schaffler spoke with Ghosn in Detroit.
