As Nike Golf unveils three new additions to its Vapor Irons collection, Nike Golf president Cindy Davis explains that the brand is relying upon product innovation as well as its association with pros Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy to push the sport forward. That's as the National Golf Foundation says more golfers left the game last year than those who took it up, resulting a net loss of 400,000 players. Most of that decline has been in the 18-34 age bracket, a statistic that may be revitalized on the back of 25 year-old McIlroy's recent success. McIlroy tells TheStreet's Brittany Umar what his transition to become one of the new faces of golf has been like, while Woods explains the challenges the sport still has to overcome.
