Will Standing During The National Anthem Come to an End?:
NFL owners will discuss the controversy over player protests during the National Anthem and if they should force players to stand. In a memo sent to teams last week NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league had been working on a plan after many discussions with players and owners, and he said the league wants players to stand for the National Anthem.
Earnings Expectations Were Beat:
UnitedHealth (UNH) - Get Report beat earnings expectations. It turned in $2.66 a share versus expectations of $2.56. Revenue was $50.3 billion. It says that it sees 2017 as better than the street expects as well.
Netflix Added New Subscribers:
Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report added more than 5 million new subscribers in the last 3 months. The streaming video company says it plans to spend $8 billion creating original content next year.
