With 6.1 million viewers, the 2021 NFL Draft was basically flat compared to 2019’s 6.2 million. The 2019 Draft was the second most-watched draft ever behind 2020, which garnered 8.3 million sets of eyes.

It was estimated that the NFL lost between $4 billion and $5 billion in revenue due to empty stadiums last year.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said that he expects full stadiums across the league in the fall. 

Does the return of a more normal 2021 Draft mark a larger return to normalcy following a year of pandemic-driven lockdowns?
