Nevada Considers Creating Condom Requirements for Porn Films

Nevada health officials say they're considering condom use requirements for porn films following the announcement last month that two male performers tested positive for HIV. Prostitution is legal in rural Nevada counties but not in Las Vegas and Reno. If porn production is regulated under the same rules, condom use would be required for all sex acts. Adult film performers would be required to undergo weekly testing for the sexually transmitted diseases chlamydia and gonorrhea, and monthly testing for HIV and syphilis. Nevada currently has no rules specifically covering pornography production.
