Are More Streaming Competitors Costing Netflix's Growth?

Netflix  (NFLX) - Get Netflix, Inc. Report, which has about 222 million global subscribers, says that “there’s more competitors than there’s ever been” in the streaming business.

On Thursday, the streaming giant's CFO Spencer Neumann said they are trying to pinpoint the reason behind the slow growth.

"When we look at the data on a competitive impact, there may be some kind of more on the marginal kind of side of our growth, some impact from competition but we just don't see it specifically."

Netflix's success in the streaming business inspired many big names to start their own streaming business. 

Amazon, which has 200 million global subscribers, launched Prime Video. Apple  (AAPL) - Get Apple Inc. ReportTV+ was launched in 2019, which currently has less than 20 million users.  in the same year, Disney  (DIS) - Get Walt Disney Company Report joined the streaming world with Disney+ and has around 118.1 million subscribers.
