Netflix Pops as Tech Stocks Boost Broad Gains in the Nasdaq

Shares of Netflix jumped more than 4% on Monday, making it TheStreet's Move of the Day. The company known for online streaming movie service booked the fourth largest gains on the S&P 500 and boosted the tech-heavy Nasdaq along with a number of retail stock favorites that posted strong trading days, including Google and Facebook. Shares of Netflix have gained 11 percent since the beginning of last week, easily beating the volatile Nasdaq composite, which the past six trading days has halved its positive and negative sessions. Shares of Netflix closed on Monday at $364.50, up 4.2%.
