Netflix Makes History by Surpassing the Number of DVRs in Households
In 2011, Netflix was in only 28% of households, compared to 44% that had a DVR. Oh, how times have changed.
According to a Leichtman Research, Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report is in 54% of American households -- just surpassing the 53% of households with a DVR. It is the first time in the 15-year history of the survey that Netflix has surpassed DVRs.
