Nearly a million people bought the Apple Watch Friday, on its debut day. E-receipt data from Slice says 957,000 people pre-ordered the watch. The less expensive "sport" model was, by far, the most popular. Apple itself has not yet released any order data. UPS plans to invest more than $1 billion in Europe to expand its package delivery network. A German magazine quotes sources who say UPS is looking to compete in Europe with Federal Express, which recently announced a purchase of Dutch company TNT Express. Symantec is exploring a sale of its Veritas Data Storage and Recovery Business as an alternative to splitting the company into two.
