The NBA is reportedly considering to restart the season in Walt Disney World. Since NBA Commissioner Adam Silver decide to suspend the season back in March due to the concerns of COVID-19, NBA fans of the sports have been impatiently waiting on whether the league will return this season.

Current and former NBA stars have been on opposite sides in terms of whether the league should resume. Hall of fame legend Shaquille O’Neal had strong thoughts on how the league should handle this season. “To try and come back now and do a rush playoffs as a player? Any team that wins this year, there's an asterisk. They're not going to get the respect. What if a team that's not really in the mix of things all of a sudden wins with a new playoff format? Nobody is going to respect that. So, scrap it. Worry about the safety of the fans and the people. Come back next year," O'Neal said.

Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James shares a completely different perspective. "Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season?? That’s absolutely not true. Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything," James said.

Last week commissioner Adam Silver said the goal is to have a decision in the next 2-4 weeks. Disney sources tell Yahoo Finance: "we are confident we'll be hosting the NBA in some fashion. It may not be the entire league, but we believe the NBA will be here to at least finish part of their season."
