This is the strongest start for listings at NASDAQ since 2007 and a 105% increase in listings from the same period in 2013, Nelson Griggs, senior vice president of the Global Client Group, explains to TheStreet's Jill Malandrino. NASDAQ continues to attract significant technology names such as Weibo, Sabre Technologies, TrueCar.com and JD.com. In fact, 60% of all IPOs in the U.S. have occurred on NASDAQ. NASDAQ has listed 230 companies since the Facebook IPO and Griggs believes that the Exchange has a lot to bring to the table for the next most anticipated IPO, Alibaba, should the company decide to list with NASDAQ.
