NASDAQ Looks to Bust More Records Today, Dow Hovers Near All-time High

The NASDAQ heads into the trading day at a new record high, it's second in a week. And so far, it looks like stocks are inching higher, albeit on light volume. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S & P 500 are hovering near their all time highs. Delta (DAL) - Get Report  tells passengers to expect more cancellations this morning. It says 90 flights will be cancelled early today with the expectations to be back to normal operations by midday. Delta's Chief Operating Officer told the Wall Street Journal that a 'power control module' at the airline's technology center malfunctioned. Disney (DIS) - Get Report  was out with its earnings and says attendance at its theme parks was down in the second quarter. The box office did well for the entertainment giant with hits like 'Finding Dory' and 'The Jungle Book'. Disney will also offer a streaming ESPN service later this year with its $1 billion purchase of 33% of BamTech.
