Nasdaq IPO Impinj, An Internet of Things Company, Soars in its Trading Debut

Internet of Things Company Impinj PI soared in its trading debut on the Nasdaq Thursday. Priced at the high end of its expected range, the listing generated further excitement at the open, and managed to soar about 25 percent by midday. Impinj is one of the few technology IPOs this year. CEO Chris Diorio said the company has strong growth opportunities across many industries, and its customers include Coca-Cola (KO) - Get Report , McDonald's  (MCD) - Get Report  and Macy's  (M) - Get Report .
