General Motors' (GM) Chevrolet Brand won not one, but two, prestigious honors on the eve of the Los Angeles Auto Show. Motor Trends selected the Chevy Camaro as the 2016 Car of the Year, and also named the Chevy Colorado as the 2016 Truck of the Year. It's the second year in a row the Colorado received the honor. The mid-sized Colorado is the fastest selling truck in the U.S. The Camaro is a brand that has been around for nearly five decades. Motor Trend said the Chevy Brand has really improved its products during the past three or four years. Winning the awards came after a tough year for GM, which included a massive recall of cars due to faulty ignition switches.
