Morning Market Stir: New All-Time Highs for the S&P 500

The S&P 500 hits new all-time highs as the Euro and crude attempt to bottom out

Wednesday, November 19 – Alan Knuckman reports from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago where the S&P 500 futures made a new closing high yesterday. The e-mini futures ended the day at 2048.5, with the Dow up to 17,652, and the Nasdaq led the way to 4,238. The dollar pulled back to 87.35, allowing the Euro to rise to 1.2537. Treasuries continue to trade range bound, finishing at 141'22. Crude oil was down at 74.61, while gold regained the 1,200 level and ended at 1,197. This morning, most markets are unchanged as crude tries to put in a reversal.
