Morning Market Stir: Mixed Markets following the FOMC Minutes on Wednesday

Thursday, November 20 – Alan Knuckman reports from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago where equities were mixed yesterday but largely unchanged on the indexes. The S&P was down slightly to 2047.25, the Dow was up to 17,657, and the Nasdaq closed at 4,224. The dollar finished up 7 at 87.71, and the Euro was also up at 1.2547. Bonds again had a tight trading range, closing at 141'07. Crude had a large range and closed down at 74.50. Gold finished at 1,194. This morning, equities are below yesterday's lows as the dollar firms up and the Euro pulls back. Treasuries are reversing higher, with crude and gold higher as well.
