Tuesday, November 25 – Alan Knuckman reports from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago where equities traded in a tight range on Monday but finished the day positive. The S&P did not make new highs and finished at 2,067.5, while the Dow drifted higher to 17,792, and the Nasdaq led, finishing at 4,282. The dollar made new highs and closed lower at 88.21, with the Euro ending positive at 1.2436. Bonds were largely unchanged at 142'02. Crude was down 70 cents at 75.80 and gold closed at 1,196. Equities are up again this morning, with the dollar unchanged, the Euro down slightly, bonds and crude positive, and gold attempting to break over the 1,200 level.
