Stock selling continued on Thursday for the second day in a row.
From the trading floor of the CME Group in Chicago, Alan Knuckman reviews market action from the previous session and what futures and commodities indicate for trade on Friday, June 13. Stock selling continued on Thursday for the second day in a row. While it felt heavy, it was only a 0.7% move lower on the S&P 500. Bonds had an almost full point move to the upside. Crude also higher with tensions in Iraq. For Friday we are shifting to the September contract in the futures. Indices across the board look to open lower, bonds and gold are steady and crude is higher.
