From the floor of the CME group in Chicago Alan Knuckman discusses the mixed record week last week and what it indicates for Monday, July 28. S&P closed down Friday at 1971.5 but unchanged for the week, the DOW was down .8% on the week and closed at 16,891 Friday, and the NASDAQ was down 3959.5 on Friday, but up .5% on a weekly basis. The dollar index closed up at 81.13 and Euro currency was down at 134.33. Bonds were up at 138.21, crude unchanged at 102.10 and gold closed up Friday at 1303. On Monday July 28, futures indexes are steady, down .5 points in the S&P, down 1 in the DOW and up 1.75 in the NASDAQ. Dollar index is down and Euro currency is up, bonds and crude are down and gold is up.¿
