From the floor of the CME group in Chicago Alan Knuckman discusses new highs from yesterday and what it indicates for Wednesday, July 23. The DOW closed up 50 points at 17,033, S&P was up 9 points at 1975 and the NASDAQ is up 10% YTD closing at 3950.5. The dollar index closed up 24 at 80.87 and the Euro down 57. Bonds were up 4 at 138.18, crude was down at 102.40 and gold closed down 8 at 113.06. On today July 23, index futures are up, the dollar index is down and Euro currency up, bonds are steady, the 30-year note is at 3.25% yield and 10-year at 2.46%, crude is up and gold is holding steady.¿
