From the floor of the CME group in Chicago Alan Knuckman discusses the market recovery last friday and what it indicates for Monday, July 21. The S&P closed up at 1971, DOW added 91 points closing at 17,032 and the NASDAQ was up 54 points at 3930. Dollar index closed up at 860 and Euro currency was unchanged. Bond market closed down at 138.02, crude also down friday at 101.95 and gold was down at 1309. On Monday July 21, index futures are down, dollar index is up and euro currency is down, bonds are unchanged, the 10-year note is at 2.48% yield, crude oil is down and gold is up.
