From the floor of the CME group in Chicago Alan Knuckman discusses the new all-time highs seen yesterday and what they indicate for Thursday, June 19. S&P up for 0.25% return on the day; Dow futures also up, but off of the records; NASDAQ surged. The dollar was flat to lightly negative, pushing the euro currency up above the 136 resistance level; bonds bounced; crude went nowhere, bouncing in a narrow $105-$106 range, trying to find direction. Gold held tight. For Thursday, June 19, index futures are up across the board, crude is steady, and bonds are higher. Knuckman emphasizes gold as the big premarket winner, up $15 at 1288.
