Wednesday, September 3 – Alan Knuckman reports from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago where futures are once again making new highs. Yesterday, the S&P closed at 1999.75, the Dow at 17,053, and the Nasdaq 4,092. The dollar was up to 83.01, pushing the Euro to new lows at 1.3127. Bonds came in yesterday to 138’22, crude was down to 92.88, and gold fell hard to 1,265. This morning, equities continue higher, as the S&P has made new all-time highs. The dollar is taking a breather, allowing the Euro to bounce slightly. Bonds are down again, with crude and gold bouncing after their sharp-sell offs yesterday.
