Monday, November 24 – Alan Knuckman reports from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago where equities closed at new all-time highs on Friday. The e-mini S&P futures ended the week at 2,062, with the Dow closing at 17,780, and the Nasdaq at 4,249. The collar continued surging to 88.41, pushing the Euro down sharply once again to 1.2389. The bond market didn't do much, finishing at 142. Crude closed at 76.50 as it attempts to base over 75, and gold finished just under 1,200 at 1,198. This morning, equities are again strong. The dollar is consolidating its gains, as the Euro hangs around Friday's close. Bonds are off a bit, while crude is down and gold is steady.
