Morgan Stanley Wealth Management: Chevron, Pfizer May be Big Winners in 2017
Chevron and Pfizer may not just be big yielders in 2017, but big winners too, says Morgan Stanley's Dan Skelly.
Chevron (CVX) - Get Report is up 27% year-to-date including a 2.5% jump yesterday on news of the OPEC oil deal. Daniel Skelly, head of equity model portfolio solutions at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, said there are more gains to come for the oil major's stock, and he also likes its 4% dividend yield. Skelly is also a fan of Pfizer (PFE) - Get Report , which is now yielding 3.76%. He said the lack of enthusiasm in the stock due to a disappointing 2016 is bullish heading into 2017.
