Netflix added 5.2 million subscribers in Q2
More people are watching Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report than ever before.
The Q2 earnings report showed that the company added 5.2 million subscribers to the service, exceeding analysts' estimates of 3.2 million. The online streaming company also posted $2.79 billion in revenue and earnings of 15 cents per share.
However, it is not all good news for the company. Netflix reported a significant decrease in average viewing team in the last quarter, from 206 minutes to 179 minutes a month, a fall of 13%.
