While Tesla leads the electric vehicle industry, it has become more diluted recently as other automakers enter the field.
CEO Masaki Sakuyama told CNBC, "The cost of the battery is now dropping very rapidly, so in the near future, the cost of the electric vehicle will be comparable to the conventional cars."
