The U.S. Senate released a draft of its latest healthcare bill Thursday morning. Most notably, the bill allows people to use Health Savings Accounts to pay for premiums and lets insurers sell cheaper plans with fewer benefits that don't meet regulations set forth by current laws.

The plan calls for steep cuts on Medicaid but retains Obama-era tax increases on upper-income Americans and uses that revenue to help lower income brackets access coverage. It also provides $45 billion for states to combat drug use and hands out extra money to hospitals in states that didn't use Obamacare to expand Medicaid.
