Midday Report: McDonald's Moves Back to Chicago; U.S. Stocks Fall
Stocks fluctuated as fears over a British exit from the European Union and a looming Fed meeting made for nervous trading. Fed members will convene for a two-day meeting tomorrow. McDonald's (MCD) - Get Report announced a long-expected move to Chicago, returning to the city area after more than forty years. The world's largest hamburger chain expects to complete its move to the West Loop neighborhood by spring 2018. Symantec (SYMC) - Get Report climbed after announcing plans to acquire fellow cybersecurity company Blue Coat Systems for $4.65 billion in cash. Blue Coat CEO Greg Clark will assume the role of Symantec chief executive. Barclays bumped up its Oracle (ORCL) - Get Report estimates ahead of its earnings report on Thursday. The firm said Oracle is benefiting from a better currency environment
