Microsoft (MSFT) is initiated, downgrade for eBay (EBAY) and Dollar Tree (DLTR) gets a raise in price target in Friday's Analysts' Actions. Jefferies is now covering Microsoft and starting it with an UNDERPERFORM rating. The firm says the tech giant still has underlying issues more related to 'challenging fundamentals that persist.' Microsoft's price target is set at $40 a share. A downgrade for eBay at Evercore to SELL from HOLD. The price target was also lowered to $49 from $52. Evercore says its lowered revision is based on competitive risks for eBay's PayPal unit. Dollar Tree got a bump up in its price target at BMO Capital to $66 from $59. But that's still just about a dollar below the stock's current trading price. The firm is keeping its MARKET PERFORM rating for the stock despite raising its numbers on the belief 'gross margin pressure from higher freight costs could diminish on falling oil prices.'
