An attacker has detonated an improvised explosive device at Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom. The blast happened t 22:35 BST, just after an Arianna Grande concert had ended.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a lone male attacker was behind the attack. However, they do not currently know if he "acted alone or was part of a wider network".
Around 60 ambulances attended the incident and people have been treated at six hospitals. 22 people were killed and nearly 60 people were injured.
Manchester Arena is the largest indoor arena in Europe and is capable of holding 21,000 people.
The explosion happened at the entrance by the box office and police say they have identified a male who may be the suicide bomber responsible. Representatives for the singer say she was not injured. Ariana Grande tweeted, saying her heart was broken.
