So, who's winning post-Toys R' Us?

The earnings results for Mattel (MAT - Get Report)  and Hasbro (HAS - Get Report) are in. The winner just might be Mattel.

According to Real Mooney's Kevin Curran "Shares of the Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based Hasbro have dipped nearly double digits in pre-market after a big miss on earnings while the El Segundo, California-headquartered Mattel are set to open at their highest level since November after crushing estimates."

Hasbro's History

Since 1945, Mattel has produced some of the most iconic brands that kids have expected to find beneath colorful wrapping paper, including Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, American Girl and more.

Though the company has suffered in recent years due to disruption form Amazon (AMZN - Get Report) paired with the collapse and bankruptcy of Toy's 'R' Us, there's no question that any kid born before 2000 and even after will recognize a toy or ten.
