What trade war with China?

"We are very optimistic about China," Marriott (MAR) - Get Report CEO Sorenson tells TheStreet. "Chinese travel is obviously growing significantly as the Chinese economy moves towards more of a consumer economy."

Marriott also has a partnership with Alibaba (BABA) - Get Report .

Even in a trade war, Sorenson expects the China economy to continue to move towards a consumption based economy and travelers in the region will continue to want to see the rest of the world.
