Trading volume for stocks is light as investors are waiting to see if the Federal Reserve will surprise the market by announcing a pullback from quantitative easing today. Alan Valdes of DME Securities thinks Ben Bernanke will not want to upstage the nomination of Janet Yellen as his replacement this week by saying anything out of the ordinary. As a result, Valdes believes the tapering of bond buying by the Fed won't begin until March of 2014 at the earliest.
