Markets bounced back from a down day of trading Thursday to close Friday's session on a high note.

The Dow, Nasdaq and S&P weren't able to close at the record highs they touched during the day, but they did close the week out in the green after falling into the red Thursday.

Wells Fargo (WFC) - Get Report was in the spotlight following its earnings release before the opening bell Friday. The company reported earnings of 84 cents per share, which was well below the $1.03 per share profit it reported in the year-ago period.. Part of the problem was a $1 billion charge the company recorded for previously disclosed mortgage-related regulatory investigations. The charge shaved 20 cents off of the company's EPS in the period.

Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report shares rose nearly 2% Friday following a pair of bullish notes from Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan lauding the company's plans to raise the price of its base and premium service packages. Goldman raised its price target to $235 from $200 while JPMorgan raised the company's price target to $225 from $210.
