On Friday, the December jobs report is released. Analysts expect nonfarm payrolls to rise by 175,000. The unemployment rate is expected to increase to 4.7% from 4.6% in November. Average hourly wages, which are also released in Friday's report, are expected to rise 0.3% month over month. Aside from the jobs report, Federal Reserve officials Charles Evans, Jeffrey Lacker and Robert Kaplan are speaking at various events on Friday. Then at 1 p.m. EST, the Baker-Hughes (BHI) Rig Count is released.
