Facebook (FB) - Get Report founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to meet you.

The CEO of the social media giant has set himself a personal challenge of traveling around the U.S. to meet ordinary people. So where has he been this year?

According to posts on his Facebook page, Zuckerberg visited the presidential pit stop of Iowa and ate some of the state's delicacies before heading to a truck stop to speak to one of the drivers. He then took off to visit Nebraska and see one of the largest train yards in the world. During his visit to the Cornhusker State, he checked out the Heartland Pride Festival. He then went on to spend the Fourth of July holiday in Homer, Alaska where he took part in some fishing and filleted salmon. He also used the trip to the Republican state to discuss the nation's social safety net programs. Zuckerberg has also taken the chance to learn about fracking and the oil industry in North Dakota and farming in South Dakota.

So where next for Mark Zuckerberg? We'll have to wait and see.
