The meatball market is booming along with demand for refrigerated foods, said Carl Wolf, CEO of MamaMancini's Holdings. MamaMancini’s products are currently sold in more than 11,100 retail locations in the United States including Costco, Walmart and Whole Foods. Wolf expects more than 37,000 shelf placements by end of this quarter, up from 22,640 in its December quarter and with a goal of 160,000. Wolf said he is building brand awareness through a media campaign that focuses on social media and Sirius radio. Finally, Wolf said he has been passing rising beef costs onto consumers, but he expects prices to level off soon.
