Macy's (M) - Get Report decision to drop Donald Trump's clothing line was a controversial move early in the election season. Now that Trump is the president-elect, CEO Terry Lundgren is defending his decision.
Lundgren told TheStreet that the decision was less about Trump himself and more about politics in general. He does not want the store stocking products from any presidential candidate, because "in our country, there's two main parties and 48% are not going to like the party you choose."
Lundgren went on to call it a "no-win situation."
