Lynn Martin Becomes NYSE's 68th President

Lynn Martin, 45, is replacing Stacey Cunningham to become the NYSE’s new president. 

Martin, who is currently the president of Fixed Income & Data Services at Intercontinental Exchange  (ICE) - Get Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. Report, will become NYSE's 68th president.

Prior to that, Martin served as president of ICE Data Services and COO of ICE Clear U.S. She served as CEO of NYSE Liffe U.S. & CEO of New York Portfolio Clearing before ICE’s acquisition of NYSE Euronext in 2013.

Her career began at IBM  (IBM) - Get International Business Machines Corporation Report where she landed full-time job as a computer programmer.

“The amount of satisfaction I would get when I compiled a program and got the program to do exactly what I wanted it to was beyond anything I had experienced previously,” she told Farrell Kramer from NYSE  (NYSE) , in an interview

She holds a bachelor degree in computer science from Manhattan College and a masters from Columbia University.
