Steven DeLuca, Publisher of DEPARTURES, a publication available to only holders of American Express’ Platinum Charge Card, reveals the latest results of DEPARTURES Global Luxury CEO Survey. North America remains the key target market for two reasons; highest concentration of millionaires and billionaires and stability. Five up and coming markets include: Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and Washington DC. China continues to be a focus in the luxury space, but sectors across the board are turning to the growing affluent middle class. Finally, the survey looks at how luxury brands are embracing philanthropy as a core part of doing business and staying in touch with the customer base.
