Look Outside the U.S. for Small Cap Stock Investing Opportunities

Small cap stocks look set to outperform the broader market, particularly given the current outlook for economic growth, according to fund managers at Standard Life Investments, which manages $373 billion in assets. Standard Life uses a bottom up approach to investing. One small cap stock the firm currently favors is Fevertree, a beverage company which is listed in London.  Fund manager Harry Nimmo says he currently sees better value for small caps in some of the European markets, like Ireland, rather than the U.S. Nimmo is fund manager of Standard Life Investment's Global & UK Smaller Companies Fund.
