An analyst tells TheStreet that acqusition will boost Lockheed Martin's revenue and earnings over the long haul. Sikorsky makes the military's Black Hawk helicopter, which should enable it to ouperform other helicopter companies, according to the analyst. Lockheed purchased Sikorsky from United Technologies in 2015, at a time when the civilian helicopter business was slumping a bit. The analyst sees improvement there as well, thanks to weaker energy prices.
